Held on november 8,2025 at Kyambogo university grounds, the inaugural KBN disability run(first edition) focused on the theme ‘Disability is not Inability,’ aiming to raise awareness for children with disabilities and foster inclusion as well as engaging the community to support them through access to education and quality health care.

Organized in partnership with Kyambogo University’s Faculty of Special Needs and Rehabilitation, the event featured 3K, 5K and 10K races.

Following the overwhelming success, the event exceeded all expectations with over 500 participants and a relatively good number of spectators. The feedback surveys indicated a 99% total satisfaction rate among participants regarding the course organization and atmosphere. We successfully raised $55,000 from individual sponsors which was fully allocated to the education and health care of our Children with Disabilities supporting 65 children with education and access to quality health care.

Beyond the numbers, the event fostered a profound sense of community proving that when we break down barriers, everyone moves forward together. We thank our individual sponsors and every runner who made this day a testament to inclusion.

Following a successful debut, our second Edition is designed to offer our partners full brand exposure and direct consumer engagement opportunities. By sponsoring the second edition, you are not just supporting an event, you are partnering with a proven platform that offers high impact brand visibility to an active audience. Let us build on the momentum of 2025 and create an even greater community impact together.
