The 2025 KBN Annual Disability Run was the First Edition and a major charity event held on Saturday, November 8,2025 dedicated to creating awareness advocating for rights of children living with disabilities promoting their inclusion in all spheres of life and fostering community engagement to support their access to quality education and health care focusing on the theme “Disability is not Inability” with hundreds participating in 3K,5K and 10K races for a Shs 20,000 fee and kits available at the Junction Mall Suite in Kireka where the Organization’s head office is located and at designated points of various universities.

Registration: Organization’s Head Office at the Junction Mall Suite in Kireka, designated points of Kyambogo University, Makerere University and Kampala International University.
Organizers: KBN Helping Hands and Wellness Foundation in partnership with the Faculty of Special Needs and Rehabilitation, Kyambogo University.
The event successfully welcomed 600 participants and an estimated number of 200 spectators. The primary objectives of the 2025 KBN Annual Disability Run were to advocate for the rights of children with disabilities, increase community engagement by 15%, maximize charitable fundraising efforts and ensure positive experience for all runners. Feedback surveys indicated a 90% satisfaction rate among participants regarding the course organization and atmosphere.
